Ann Yancy Rogers, Principal Designer

Let’s start out with learning a bit more about your company. What makes Ro Sham Beaux unique?

Ro Sham Beaux’s ability to customize products is what makes us most unique. Our beaded chandeliers can be customized by shape, size, hemp color, hardware finish and bead choice. Customers can create their own specific bead strand to compliment the colors in their space.

What is a favorite piece in your collection that designers might not know about?

Currently we are loving the Lisbon Tables. The Lisbon console, coffee and side tables have a contemporary look but also pull from vintage “old school” finishes. The tables are available in antique gold or silver and have an inlaid white bone pattern.

Who or what inspires you most when coming up with designs?

Our lead designer, Ann Yancy Rogers is most inspired by her love of natural elements such as the sea. She incorporates materials such as hemp, sea glass, and natural stones into her designs. Ann’s designs are heavily influenced by her coastal lifestyle and exotic travels.

What is your favorite part about the manufacturing industry?

Ro Sham Beaux began as an elite lighting manufacturer with the ability to bring designer’s lighting concepts to fruition and create beautiful, interesting pieces. Throughout the years, Ro Sham Beaux has incorporated outdoor, living and dining furniture as well. Most recently, Ann is designing a hardware and accessories collection.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Our newest lighting collection is the Hanoi collection (release date: October 2019). This collection is inspired by Hanoi’s Southeast Asian and French influences. The collection is full of natural rattan and bamboo pieces.
