Let’s start out by learning a bit more about your company. What makes your brand and products unique?
Our finishes are animal friendly and faux so no animals are harmed. Also the items we showcase have hand applied and hand detailed finishing to them. None of our items are machine cut or finished.
Do you have a favorite piece in your collection or a new item or collection coming that designers might not know about?
We have a new Austrian Trolley Cart that we introduced the end of April that is a front runner for sure! Customers and staff are both in love with this piece.
Who or what inspires you most when conceiving of your designs?
What inspires us is “what” will make our items stand out. We want to make sure that while showing clients elegant products that they at the same time find them transitional and a focal point of any room.
What is the process behind initiating new designs/products?
We review our items from the front end. What is this piece going to look like, then what finish is going to really add the WOW factor to it once completed. From there we produce and receive images from production throughout the process.
What is your favorite part about the manufacturing process?
My favorite part about the manufacturing process is the choosing what finish to put on the piece. It really is exhilarating to choose the dimensions and finish and to see the product come to life.
Please speak to the custom nature of your lines.
We are able to customize finishes, dimensions and more. We really can make any item more of a one of a kind than they already are.
Please give us an overview of the more personal side of your business, who’s behind it, how did it come to be, any interesting stories about the origin or the founders you can share?
A lot of people want to know WHO is Mr. Brown. Mr. Brown is actually not a real person and we like for him to be a figment of your imagination of who you think he should be. Although he has a fun, playful side with the items he produces he is also sophisticated and modern with every thought he has.
What is your favorite item and why?
My favorite piece is our Tito Low Cabinet. I like the functionality of this item and the fact that your everyday media cabinet can not only be just that but it can also be a conversation piece for its fun patterns on the doors.
