We are pleased to share that DesignerInc is one of six companies selected for inclusion in the 2018 StartFast Program. StartFast is a three-month accelerator program that provides mentorship to 5-7 startup companies each year. The program is tailored to software, mobile, and IoT businesses. DesignerInc Founder and CEO, Heather Gillette, will participate alongside executives from Automation Intellect, Vimix, 3D Usher, LotMonkey, and Fastdezine.
“We’re incredibly excited to have DesignerInc join StartFast this year” says James Shomar, StartFast Program Director. “They’re a winning team addressing an important customer problem. With their innovative approach, we think they’re going to become a major player in the design industry.”
DesignerInc has made it our mission to bring technology and the design industry together with one platform that allows designers and manufacturers to work in tandem to create access and save time. We hope that participating in the StartFast Program will allow us to grow faster and make a difference for more designers. To that end, Heather Gillette will move from San Francisco to New York for the summer to be a part of the program.
“We’re so fortunate to have been accepted into the StartFast program, especially considering they had over 4,900 applicants this year” says Gillette. “It’s not only validating, it’s incredibly empowering and we can’t wait to see what’s possible with StartFast on the team!”
StartFast is built by a highly curated community of accelerators, partners, and investors who share the goal of turning startups into extraordinary companies. StartFast ensures that each company leaves the program three times more valuable than it started, with a strong network of supporters.
The program will conclude on August 9th with StartFast Demo Day, where each participating startup, including DesignerInc, will take the stage to showcase their mobile and web technologies to a packed room of angel investors and venture capitalists.
DesignerInc is thrilled to join the StartFast community. For more on our journey with StartFast, follow along on Facebook and Twitter. We’ll be sharing updates throughout the 2018 program.
